What Is Coaching?
A Christian Coach can help you move from where you are toward the greater fulfillment you desire. Simply put, I help you live on purpose! As your coach, I commit to stand beside you, hold on to your dreams, gifts, passions and experiences while helping you uncover and fulfill God's purpose for your life.
Coaching is about helping others grow and can have the power to change how you live the rest of your life! We can often be hindered by obstacles that keep us from being all we are designed to be. We will work together to help you find clarity, balance and vision to overcome these obstacles as you journey to live life to the fullest!

How Coaching Works
Coaching is distinctly different than counseling or therapy. Coaching focuses on bringing you from the present (where you are) to the possible future (where you want to be) while counseling or therapy focus on the past and the healing of your hurts. Consulting centers on offering expert advice and answers to a particular problem, while coaches ask questions that help clients see their problem in a new light and develop their own solutions. Mentoring and coaching have many similarities: both are one-on-one, growth-oriented relationships that focus on change and forward movement. While there are many definitions floating around, mentoring can be seen as much like coaching but more weighted toward imparting skills, information and perspective to a learner. Coaching has less to do with being an authority in a particular skill, job or ministry area than it does with expertise in basic principles of how people grow and change—principles that can be applied to almost any area of life.

What makes coaching easy, convenient and comfortable is the use of technology. Through a weekly phone call, email/fax and 'spot calls' we are able to build a strong coaching relationship that will help you move from where you are now to a more balanced, focused and fulfilled future. The great part is this can be done even if you live in another time zone or outside the U.S.!
I am also available to coach in person within Santa Cruz County. So, if you are more comfortable meeting face to face we can arrange our sessions accordingly.

Who Is Ron?

Ron & Nicole Marsh
My personal mission is to be a loving man of God full of joy and peace leading others into a growing relationship with Him. Over the past 13 years I have served as a pastor over various age groups in churches from 200-4000 and I bring a pastor's heart to Coaching. I began coaching in 2002 and I am currently finishing the first U.S. Master's Degree in Leadership Coaching. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife, Nicole, playing my guitar and running through the streets, trails and beaches near our home!
My wife and I have a deep desire to see others grow into the fullness of who God created them to be. Life Coaching offers a powerful platform to utilize the gifts God has given me to make a lasting impact in the lives of others. I find deep personal satisfaction and fulfillment as I coach others to live on purpose. My background in Theology, Leadership, Human Behavior Science and Pastoral Ministry are a few of the many tools I draw from as I Coach others to greater fulfillment.
